• Pre visualization of film
• Controls of good pastings and possibly repairs of defective pastings 
• Précleaning before digitalization: with a velvet fabric, over the entire length of film, to eliminate a maximum of dust. In the case of finger marks, traces of soft lead pencil ,or encrusted, one can have recourse to a specialized product.
• Addition of white starters at the beginning of each measuring sufficient length to limit the number of images lost during the Digitalization.

 The digitalization of silver film:  

Also called “importation”, “captures”,”, digitalization makes it possible to transfer the video data from a video camera, a video tape recorder to the hard disk of a computer.
During digitalization, the original film reel is cleaned a second time thru a special processing. Dust, wire, and hairs of all kinds are absorbed thru this special processing.
Digitalization solely does not consist in capturing images. The video obtained is cut out in scenes where each plan is named and annotated.
Each one of these scenes is analyzed and captured, by the software which restores a synthesis of the corrections to be brought on the colorimetry*, the luminance* , the Color balance*, etc…, invaluable information for the task of treatment to come.
If you wish to make the mounting of your film on your own, we can undertake digitalization and provide you a recording of data files “AVI resolution of 720x576” on External Hard Disk for example.
It should be noted that one hour of film occupies 13 Go of space of storage in native format DV.

The audio and video mounting:  :  

The “nonlinear” mounting for the post-production* vidéo is a modern method of mounting which makes it possible to reach directly, thanks to a computer, with any image of a video sequence or of a numerical sound
the images and the sound are recorded on a hard disk, directly in the codec * used by the program of mounting, and can be directly assembled on this support. It is possible to move scenes, to add fixed images in the course of mounting,
the software used for mounting authorizes

• the integration of transitions, titles, special effects, corrections of video or audio levels, reading rate, etc ......
• The mixing which makes it possible to add preregistered audio comments (Voice over*), music or sound effects.

With time, heat and moisture, the original colors of your creations lost their glare. Your films transferred with blue or with the red, the colors have faded. It is necessary to improve them by treatments such as: :

• ’The elimination of the sheared images,
• the cleaning of the fugacious spots
• the release of noise and the reinforcement of clearness
• the correction of Colorimetry 
• correction of Contrast and the Luminosity 
• the suppression of defective images or scenes
• the insertion of video transitions to each change of plan
• insertion of music, voice off, title and, credits

According to the type of support which you will have selected for the final production:  :

The preceeding mounting will be coded respectively in various formats of file multi media is in AVI* or MPEG*

Your silver films were made in the format of projection of the time is into 4/3 (see below). Digitalization will consequently be carried out according to this same format
Today, the TV screen uses the formats 4/3* or 16/9*.

The 16/9 are a compromise between the cinematographic formats most current, which makes it possible to reproduce broad formats (1,85: 1 or 2,35:1) while limiting the black bands in top and bottom.

With your request, we can provide you your order under a format 16/9. It should be noted that the image will be:  :

• Either cut down in height (See above)
• Or the characters “will be more packed”
